The Best Full Coverage Concealer

If I was stranded on a desert island and could only have one makeup product with me, as hard as it would be, I would definitely take concealer. I’ve never really been a fan of a full coverage foundation but as a sufferer of spots and those awful acne scars being a part of my life, I like to use a full coverage concealer to give the illusion of zero imperfections.
A couple of years ago when I was suffering from a very bad breakout and looking for a good concealer, I came across the brand Vichy Dermablend. I liked the sound of their award winning Ultra Corrective Cream Stick and so in a spot flustered panic I ordered one straight away.

Vichy Dermablend Ultra Corrective Cream Stick, although branded as a foundation, makes the absolute perfect concealer. It has the most amazing coverage, gliding on so easily with not a hint of cakey-ness in sight. I wear this every day to cover up redness, scarring and spots. Oh and the lasting power is also amazing.

On imperfections, I like to use a concealer that either matches my natural skin tone perfectly or is a teeny weeny bit lighter to avoid drawing any attention to these areas. There are 7 shades available from the palest shade ‘porcelain’ to the darkest shade ‘coffee’. I’ve found my perfect shade is 12 ‘opal’ which is a fairly pale yellow toned colour. I also own shade 14 ‘nude’ which is  also a yellow tone but a more medium shade.

If you’re looking for a full coverage concealer then I would definitely recommend this. Another bonus is that you also get a lot of product so it will last you ages.

Are there any other full coverage concealers you’d recommend me trying?
