Summer Glow-Getters

P5231557

How gorgeous is the weather this week?! It’s got me so excited for summer and it means I can finally switch up my makeup routine to a lighter and more glowy finish. In summer, for me, a dewy base is an absolute MUST. I love that natural bronzed glow and together these products work perfectly to create it. Primer is a must for me especially when the weather is warm as there is more of a chance that the heat could affect the lasting power of your base and I love

I lusted after the much raved about Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop for SO long. I have so many highlighters that it just felt so wrong for me to purchase yet another one so I thought if I added it to my Christmas list it wouldn’t be as bad. I mean, if someone gives you a present you can’t exactly say no now can you? Luckily, my boyfriend got the 2000 hints and actually opened the link I emailed him countless times and it landed on my lap at

I own way too many foundations but whenever a new one is released and it sounds like my kinda coverage and finish, I just have to buy it which is exactly what happened with the L’Oreal Paris Nude Magique Cushion Foundation. I’ve been so intrigued by cushion foundations; a Korean beauty trend that has made it’s way onto UK shores, and so not too long ago I took advantage of Boots’ £9.99 introductory offer (it’s currently £14.99 and still an absolute bargain) and threw the new L’Oreal Cushion Foundation into

I’ve been a huge fan of the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation for years now. It’s one of those products that I must have repurchased countless times and despite often trying out new foundations, I always have a bottle of Bourjois Healthy Mix in my makeup drawer as a foundation I know I can rely on. In my opinion, it’s comparable to many high-end foundations in terms of lasting power and providing a gorgeous finish and of course, the price is undeniably better which also helps a lot. It’s only recently

I have finally got my hands on the much talked about Topshop Glow Highlighter and in fact, my first ever makeup product from the Topshop range. I generally seem to get too distracted by the clothes in Topshop and completely forget about having a look at their makeup. As a huge fan of the glowy dewy finish I loveee highlighters, so I was excited to see if this lived up to the hype…. Topshop Glow Highlighter in Polished (buy here £9) The cream highlighter comes in two shades, ‘gleam’ and ‘polished’ and

My skin officially hates winter. The coldness makes all my usual dry patches extra dry and the ones that aren’t usually dry, well, dry too. This is especially upsetting to me as someone who loves the dewy glowy look. However, with the help of some gorgeous products, I’ve realised I can still achieve that healthy, natural glow we normally get in those summer months which are so out of reach right now.  Say hello to my new bff’s – Miss Revlon PhotoReady Skinlights Face Illuminator and Miss L’Oreal Lumi Magique
