Makeup Geek Eyeshadows; Must-Have Shades
So, I’ve filled up my first little Z palette and in the process of doing so, I discovered some must-have shades that I neeeed to share with you! I did a post on my first impression of Makeup Geek eyeshadows here so I won’t go into too much detail about them other than to say that they are amazingly pigmented, blend SO well and are so cheap considering they are such good quality! I bought the eyeshadows from Beauty Bay as I find the delivery to always be super quick and it’s completely free for orders over £15 and I alwaysss seem to go over £15! Just recently, Beauty Bay have stocked up on all the Makeup Geek shades so it was the perfect time to buy some new ones for my Z palette. I picked up a range of the normal eyeshadow pans and a range of the foiled eyeshadow pans too.
Normal eyeshadow pans:
Crème Brulee; very pale brown and the perfect natural crease colour
Peach Smoothie; light peach shade that really brightens up the eyes and makes a great transition shade
Chickadee; deep orangey shade that looks amazing layered over Peach Smoothie for a more intense eye look
Poppy; a bright reddy orange shade that also looks beautiful teamed with Peach Smoothie and Chickadee
I love all these shades and I think they would make great additions to any girls eyeshadow collection as they are all such versatile colours that could work with so many different eye looks. You can check out the Makeup Geek eyeshadow pans here.
Foiled eyeshadow pans:
Pegasus; a bright intense blue for a bold eye look
In the Spotlight; pale pink and one of my absolute faves for an all over lid colour
Whimsical; very pale lilac/white shade great for the inner corners of the eyes and centre of the lid
Untamed; deep gold shade perfect for an evening look
Flame Thrower; bronze shade also perfect for an evening look
All the Makeup Geek foiled eyeshadows are super intense and shimmery which I absolutely love and are so perfect for an evening! You can check them out on Beauty Bay here.
