After suffering from those awful January blues, I can’t deny I’m glad this month is finally over. After the excitement of Christmas is well and truly gone and summer still feels like a lifetime away, January always feels a little bit depressing. Along with the dullness though, January did bring some amazing products my way…
Say hello to the cutest little lip balms! This is the EOS lip balm in Strawberry Sorbet, a definite must for your make up bag to cure chapped lips this winter. There’s something weirdly exciting about using a ball shaped lip balm and I have no clue why..
For a subtle swipe across the face to brighten my whole complexion or for some subtle contouring, Estee Lauder’s Bronze Goddess is amazing. From the slight shimmer to make your skin appear healthy and glowing to the glamorous bronzed design (how gorgeous!), if you want a bronzer that will last you a lifetime then let it be this. Oh and the brush that comes with it isn’t half bad either..
After hating my eyebrows for quite sometime, after Christmas I decided they were in serious need of some TLC and so a HD Brow appointment was booked and boy did it make a difference. She informed me that my eyebrow shape was completely wrong (oh dear..) and I’d got a bit too tweezer-happy. Whilst my eyebrows are in between growing stages, I needed a product that would look natural but also add definition and thickness to my brows and my god, Soap and Glory have got it bang on with their Brow Archery. The felt tip end creates hair like strokes and does the job so perfectly, I love it. Review coming soon.
Waterlily Sun, a fragrance by Aerin that oozes sophistication is currently my number one scent. Hints of Sicilian Bergamot and dewy greens with Waterlily and Jasmine Sambac, it’s a fresh and long lasting fragrance – perfect for lifting your mood in this gloomy weather and the simplicity of the design adds class to your dressing table.
