On Friday I booked my summer holiday and vowed that the word ‘dessert’ was going to be banned from my vocabulary. 3 days later and I find myself with a freshly baked banana loaf glaring at me from my worktop. However, due to the bananas I’m classing this as as healthy…Okay so it’s probably not ‘healthy‘ but it’s healthier than some desserts, right?! So if you fancy making a deliciously light, fluffy and extremely moist banana loaf then keep reading..   2 ripe bananas 150g golden caster sugar + extra for sprinkling

If I was stranded on a desert island and could only have one makeup product with me, as hard as it would be, I would definitely take concealer. I’ve never really been a fan of a full coverage foundation but as a sufferer of spots and those awful acne scars being a part of my life, I like to use a full coverage concealer to give the illusion of zero imperfections.  A couple of years ago when I was suffering from a very bad breakout and looking for a good

As much as I love high-end products, it’s always nice to find good alternatives that won’t break the bank or cost you an arm and a leg to repurchase. So I’ve rounded up my favourite 11 (random number, I know..) products under a total of, wait for it…£2! Did someone say bargain? Hair  Dry shampoo is probably one of my most used hair products ever, mainly because of the volume it gives to my hair. Although I’ve always been a Batiste kinda girl, I was intrigued by the much cheaper Superdrug

My skin officially hates winter. The coldness makes all my usual dry patches extra dry and the ones that aren’t usually dry, well, dry too. This is especially upsetting to me as someone who loves the dewy glowy look. However, with the help of some gorgeous products, I’ve realised I can still achieve that healthy, natural glow we normally get in those summer months which are so out of reach right now. Say hello to my new bff’s – Miss Revlon PhotoReady Skinlights Face Illuminator and Miss L’Oreal Lumi Magique Primer.

A few months ago my natural brown locks were no where to be seen. I was in fact a blonde and had been blonde for the previous 5 years of my life. As much as I loved it, the upkeep was costly and the years of bleach were beginning to take their toll on my fine hair. With much courage, I eventually booked an appointment at the hairdressers to be transformed into a brunette. However, everytime I would wash my hair, the rich brown colour would fade, eventually leaving me with

There’s nothing like a good blush to brighten your complexion, especially in the dull winter months. I’m definitely more of a peachy blush kinda-girl rather than a girly pink one and so I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the much raved about Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso, which is said to be comparable to Nars Orgasm.  Milani Baked Blush With drugstore products I never expect the packaging to be very impressive but the gold design does make it look a lot more expensive than it really is. However, once you hold
