Summer is finally here which means it’s time to trade our darker lip shades for lighter and brighter ones. Coral is one of my favourite shades to wear on my lips in Summer. I feel like it’s one of those colours that’s harder to pull off at any other time of the year but in Summer it’s just perfect. Plus, it looks unreal with a tan! So if you’re like me and you’ll be embracing that bright lip in the coming months then I’ve rounded up some of my old

A few months ago, life was really getting on top of me. I felt like I had no time to breathe let alone run a blog and I really wondered how on earth people managed to cope having a full time job, a blog and a social life. I’ll admit, the thoughts ‘is it really worth it?!’ even crossed my mind. You wake up at 7am, get home at 6pm, do a workout, take photos of products whilst it’s still daylight, write blog posts, take pictures for your instagram, post tweets

I own way too many foundations but whenever a new one is released and it sounds like my kinda coverage and finish, I just have to buy it which is exactly what happened with the L’Oreal Paris Nude Magique Cushion Foundation. I’ve been so intrigued by cushion foundations; a Korean beauty trend that has made it’s way onto UK shores, and so not too long ago I took advantage of Boots’ £9.99 introductory offer (it’s currently £14.99 and still an absolute bargain) and threw the new L’Oreal Cushion Foundation into

NARS Obsession

NARS is one of my absolute favourite makeup brands. There are so many NARS products that I love and would repurchase again and again and again. I’m currently obsessed with 3 products in particular though which go by the name of NARS Sheer Glow Foundation, NARS Steven Klein One Shocking Moment Palette and the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. Together, they are a match made in NARS heaven and a match I just had to share with you. I’m a huge fan of foundations that give you that radiant glowing finish

Blogging has opened up a world of exciting opportunities for which I am so so grateful for. The latest of those exciting opportunities was an invitation to the Kiehl’s beauty blogging event in York last weekend. I couldn’t wait to find out more about their amazing products and latest launches, as well as having a sneaky peak at their York store which I’d never visited before. I decided to make the most of last weekend’s gorgeous weather and head to York a bit earlier to have a little shop before

I was so excited when I heard that NYX was launching in Boots. Not that I need another reason to visit Boots at all seeing as I probably spend half my life in there but this has definitely given me one. I’ve had a list as long as my arm of products I’ve wanted to try from NYX but unfortunately I went on one of the first days the counter had opened and it was so ridiculously busy that I decided to just pick up a few of the products

Hey guyss, so it’s been a while since I’ve done an outfit post. It’s been mainly down to a lack of time to shoot pictures – my weekends seem to be so busy at the moment and fitting it in after work has been a bit of a struggle but also down to the fact that I’ve just bought a brand new camera and it’s been a little trickier getting to grips with it than I first thought! However, they’ll be lots of outfit posts to come on Secrets of

Anyone else an avid follower of all those dessert accounts on Instagram?! I’m forever spotting delicious looking ones, screen shotting them and vowing to make them one day but when I recently spotted a cookie pie, my eyes lit up and it went straight to the top of my ‘must bake’ list. A giant gooey cookie? What could be more fabulous than that? I put my own little twist on it making it extra indulgent. I’m talking that every-crumb-gone-in-a-matter-of-hours indulgence and the kinda indulgence that’s worth every single calorie. If
