My Favourite City: Rome

1

It’s that time of year where we’re dreaming about summer holidays with those lucky ones amongst us actually booking them (if that’s you I’m totally jealous btw) and with travel most definitely on my mind, I thought I’d share with you one of my all time favourite City’s and one you should definitely visit if you’re yet to do so. I love Rome. There’s something about the narrow cobbled streets that you can just get lost in, the beautiful views that cameras can’t even do justice, the way there’s a

Contouring has become a huge part of my makeup routine and I’m forever trying out different products in the hope to achieve model-esque cheekbones or any kind of cheekbones if I’m honest. It’s only recently though that I’ve realised just how much difference having the correct contouring tools makes to the application and finish of my makeup. When I first attempted to contour, I would use any brush I could find and then afterwards I’d sit and wonder why I just looked bronzed and not defined. When the Morphe 6

River Island can do no wrong when it comes to shoes so when I was looking for the perfect pair of over the knee boots not too long ago, I knew they wouldn’t let me down. I’d spotted a few pairs in various shops that had caught my eye but there always seemed to be something that wasn’t quite right about them. Some had a heel that was just that bit too high, some looked cheap and others were way too baggy around the thigh. As you’ve probably guessed, I can

An email recently landed in my inbox from a brand called Cheerz telling me all about their new launch in the UK. If you’re yet to hear of them, Cheerz have both an app and a website that allows you to upload photos straight from your phone or computer to create fun photo designs which make the nicest gifts for a loved one or well, for yourself too! I personally love having photos printed. It feels so much nicer flicking through a photo album or pinning them on your wall

I recently went on a trip to Chester (you can read my post here) and whilst I was there I spotted a Space NK  and well, being the beauty addict I am I just had to go in and have a browse. The NARS Steven Klein One Shocking Moment palette had been on my wishlist ever since I saw it on my Instagram feed but when I finally saw it in person I just fell even more in love with it. Containing 4 blushes, 1 bronzer and a contour and

Not too long ago I reached over 1000 followers on both Twitter and Instagram and seeing as that was all thanks to you lovely lot, I thought what better way to thank you all and to celebrate than by doing my first blog giveaway?! I decided to choose a product that I’d been lusting after myself ever since I first clapped eyes on it which is the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette. Come on, just how stunning is this palette?! I’m literally in love! For those of you yet to see this

One of my New Years Resolutions (check them out here) was to eat healthier and so since the beginning of the year I’ve been trying my hardest to create nutritious meals which are also really tasty. I love how much better healthy eating makes me feel but I often find it hard as I have such a sweet tooth! Staying away from chocolate is like the hardest thing ever! So in order to inspire me to eat healthier, I’ve been scanning Instagram and Pinterest for lots of healthy meal ideas and

I have naturally dark-ish red lips so I often find it a struggle to find a nude lipstick that works for me. It’s rare that those really pale nudes suit me unless I plaster my lips in concealer beforehand which as well as completely drying them out, reminds me of the concealer lip trend of my teens and well, that is a time I’d rather not revisit…Anyway, because of this I often find myself attracted to darker nudes, those Kylie Jenner-esque mauve shades which I really really love, much like

I always find New Years Eve a bit of a let down and so I was determined to celebrate it somewhere different this year. We looked at going abroad and very very nearly booked a few days in Paris but of course with it being New Years Eve it was a bit too expensive and so we decided to wait until the New Year to go abroad. So England it was! After a few recommendations, we eventually decided to head to Chester. Everyone had said how pretty it was and

Happy New Year! The time has come where we sit down and decide everything that’s wrong with us and put it all together in one big list, vowing not to be the same person we were the previous year. Then the year goes by, we sit and think about our resolutions and feel like absolute failures. So this year I’m going to do it a bit differently. I’ve decided to set myself realistic goals, ones I can actually achieve rather than promising myself an unreal apartment or to travel the
