July 2014

It’s one of those days I thought would never come. Me? A graduate? I still feel about 15…For those of you who don’t know, I studied English Language at Newcastle University and it was my graduation on Monday. It has been a whirlwind 3 years, some amazing and unforgettable times and some extremely low points that I really hope I do forget! But all in all it has been the best 3 years of my life and I had the nicest day celebrating the end with the people I couldn’t

A Day At The Beach

IMG_1077new

I had a lovely surprise recently which was that I was going on holiday to Greece! I go on Thursday and so I’m currently rushing around trying to sort out holiday clothes and panicking that I am not very bikini ready right now (why can’t I just stick to a diet?!) but I’m sooo excited to get away from everything for a bit and have a nice relaxing break. A day at the beach wouldn’t be complete for me without a good book to read. I’ve heard such good things

When it comes to nails I can’t say mine are the best. I’m always searching for a nail polish that will transform them into something a million times more glamorous in a matter of minutes and how can I or anyone possibly go wrong with Essie’s much raved about Fiji?! I love Essie’s nail polishes. There’s so many gorgeous colours to choose from whatever the occassion or whatever mood you’re in, some of my faves being Mint Candy Apple and Peach Daquiri, both perfect summer shades with the cutest names. However, nothing

Tour De France in Yorkshire

Nothing exciting ever seems to happen in the area I live, let alone right next to my street in Leeds and so it felt only right to do a post on the beginning of the Tour De France as it departed from Yorkshire… I’ll admit I’m not a huge cycling fan, in fact I can’t even remember the last time I rode a bike but I couldn’t believe how many crowds of people were stood on every street throughout the county cheering everyone on. It brought everyone together and felt

June Favourites

I can’t believe it’s July already, it only seems like two minutes ago since I was sat writing my May favourites. June has been a good month but I’m super excited that it’s July, I’ve got quite a few exciting things planned, including my graduation (still can’t believe I’m no longer a student *cries*) so hopefully it’s going to be a good month. The weather is also so nice at the moment so fingers crossed it stays this way! I found it pretty hard to narrow down my favourites from June
